One of the blogs I love to follow is that of MckMama. Her photography is sublime, her humor is so well appreciated by all the moms who follow her, and her faith in God inspires all who read her blog.
The MckMama family is in need of prayers right now. Their youngest son, Stellan (AKA MckMuffin) was diagnosed with heart problems in utero that were supposed to be fatal. He was born well and whole, thank God, but those heart problems reared their ugly head again last night and this morning. Please be thinking about them and praying for little Stellan that his heartrate returns to normal and that the family can again breath a sigh of relief. No, NOT! and some fun in the sink
A new Ollisim for you...No, NOT! When asked "Do you want to go to bed?" we are now met with the reply of "No...Not." It's pretty funny, I'll have to catch some video of it for you all.
Look the other way mama, look the other way...
Come on, I'm WAAAAYYY too cute and smart for you. You know I'll just climb right back in when your back is turned, so why fight it?
Fun in the sink. Ok mom, I know you are going to say I let him get away with too much, but in my defense, it was Report Card Friday and I just gave up...Here' s what my darling boy figured out how to do on Friday...

In the end, Oliver won. I stripped him down and let him play. Hey, a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!
He was having so much fun. Mom was having fun. Dada got home in time to play in the sink too. Now if we could just get the cats to join in...I'm pretty sure they were hiding as far away as possible during this episode!

Shoot milk out your nose funny!
While we were in Montana a couple of weeks ago, Ollie and I stopped by A&W for lunch (I wish we had one closer...mini corndogs, yum!). They give you this cute kids lunch pack, complete with hot dog, french fries, apples, Teddy Grahams, milk, wet-wipes, and a root beer sucker. Oliver really has only had a sucker 2 or 3 times, so they are still a fun novelty for him. He went around the hotel room, blissfully licking away. He never stuck it in his mouth, he just kept sticking out his tongue and rubbing the sucker on it. Snapping picts, I caught this:
You REALLY should click on it to get the large version to feel the full impact of the "crazy sugar eyes"...
IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE HIM!!! I thought I was going to loose my lunch from laughing so hard when it came up on the camera. Really, one eye is bigger than the other, he's got his lips all curved in, and his tongue is about down to his chest. Is it just me, or does it look like he's saying "SUGAR GOOD, huh, huh, SUGAR GOOOOOOOD!" Seriously, he really is much cuter, so when I get gems like this, gotta share. Just for comparision, here is my usual shot of him:
